Safe for the Whole Family: How to Make a Christian Superstar is Nora's first feature film. Directed by Jason Ikeler, it follows three Contemporary Christian Music stars, Nikki Leonti, Michael Passons, and Jennifer Knapp, telling their stories publicly for the first time. Leigh Nash, Matt Thiessen, Crystal Lewis, and Derek Webb are among the artists also featured. The film is already drawing press from outlets like People and Elle ahead of a wider release later this year.
Nora grew up in the evangelical Baptist church, the same world the film examines. The stories in it aren't just from where she's from. They're about how she was raised.
